Keep in mind that LJD's fees are the total amount a family needs to participate, unlike many commercial studios where the fee may appear lower but actually be higher when considering additional costs. LJD does not require any expensive outfits or costumes. Our fall showings are free for families and our spring performance of student choreography does not require expensive tickets to be bought — rather we accept a voluntary $10 donation if at all possible to help us cover the costs of the production. LJD gives $25,000 in scholarships to local children who otherwise would not be able to study dance.
